John on Cry Baby…
"I have been using Dunlop Crybaby Wahs for as long as I can remember. A good example of this can be heard on the guitar solo in the song 'Voices' off Our Awake album. Back when we were recording Scenes From A Memory I discovered the 535Q pedal and have been using it in the studio ever since. You can hear it on the main riff in the song 'Home' off that album. I just love the deep, throaty character that the 535 delivers. Live I prefer using the Dunlop Rack Wah as it helps me maintain my tone by not having to run long lines if audio out to a pedal. The multiple controller feature is awesome giving me several spots on stage to use the wah from and the VCA comes in really handy when using a volume pedal. I can get virtually any wah sound imaginable with that unit and it has become a staple ingredient in all of my live touring rigs.”
John on Picks…
"To me the guitar pick has always been its own instrument; vital to the tone, accuracy and musicality standards I strive for and try to uphold in my playing. My Dunlop signature pick is the ultimate guitar pick and the only thing out there that tackles and conquers all three of those elements with ease and conviction."
