Recently, he had this to say about the MXR Bass Compressor: "Historically, compressor pedals give me the heebie jeebies. So when this pretty pedal showed up sounding all natural and punchy with a cool gain-reduction meter, quelle surprise! Nice job MXR."
"I'm a long-time aficionado of chorus effects, but it's sometimes tricky getting the sound to jive just right the low-end of bass guitar. The new MXR Bass Chorus is a great solution. It not only retains the lows well, but also gives a particularly rich and unique chorus effect. Great on synth bass too. Highly recommended."
