Michael Rhodes is one of the premiere Nashville session bassists. After getting his start with bands in Austin and Memphis in the 1970s, he made his way to Nashville and started working as a session man. Since then, he’s recorded with Gretchen Wilson, Brooks & Dunn, Shawn Colvin, Faith Hill, Randy Travis, Wynonna Judd, the Dixie Chicks, Reba McIntyre, and Vince Gill, among many others.
