Uriah Heep formed in London in 1969 and became one of the seminal hard rock bands of the 1970s. The group's massive signature sound is marked by huge guitar riffs, powerful keyboard and a rock solid rhythm section that drove the band to the top of the charts several times. Known as one of the biggest rock bands of the time along with contemporaries like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin Uriah Heep has sold over 30 million albums and played in front millions of adoring fans all over the world.
"I have been an avid user of Jim Dunlop products since the late '60s, notably the Cry Baby Wah Wah! Uriah Heep play in over 56 Countries worldwide, and have sold in excess of 30 million albums, CDs and DVDs, and you can hear the signature sound of the Cry Baby on every Heep concert, and every recording. I presently use the Jim Dunlop Cry Baby Rack Mount DCR-2SR, which is super versatile, and has Wah sounds to die for. It is all over our latest CD, Into The Wild, on the Frontiers Label, and it will continue to be the must-have pedal in my set up. ‘Appy days!" - Mick Box, Uriah Heep
