Mike Adkins Info

Mike Adkins, guitarist for Uncle Kracker, grew up in Livonia, Michigan a suberb of Detroit. Born in 1983, he began learning classical piano at 8 years old. Just a few years later, he moved on to the guitar, which quickly became a lifelong passion. Prior to joining Uncle Kracker, Adkins had already shared the stage with musical greats like Eric Clapton, BB King, and Jeff Beck. He was raised on classic rock and blues, and those influences definitely show in his playing.

"My parents took me to my first concert at a very young age, I saw the Stones when I was 6 years old and it changed my life," he says. In 2009, Mike was tapped by Top Dawg / Atlantic recording artist Uncle Kracker, and has since played countless shows with Kracker's band, appeared in the music video for the single "Smile," and has had the opportunity to appear on numerous television and award shows including The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, Regis & Kelly Live, Fox & Friends, and the American Country Awards, just to name a few.
