Miles Mosley Info
Miles Mosley is an upright bassist, vocalist, producer, composer, and arranger, trained in classical and jazz. Born and raised in Hollywood, he spent most of his life romping around the streets of Los Angeles and spent every summer of his childhood in Pell City, Alabama.
His style on the upright bass is characterized by his combination of bow work, and dexterous fingers with effects while blending jazz with rock pop, funk, and R&B.
He’s released two solo albums, composed film soundtracks, and performed on numerous TV shows and music videos. He’s worked in the studio with India Arie, Jason Mraz, Chris Cornell, Avenged Sevenfold, and Terence Howard. He’s performed live with Lauryn Hill, Mos Def, Herbie Hancock, Gnarls Barkley, Korn’s Jonathan Davis, and Jeff Beck among others.
