Longtime Dunlop artists Avenged Sevenfold is riding high on the success of “Nightmare”‘, the bands fifth studio album. As a whole, the album draws on everything from the earliest influences and inspirations that bonded the musicians in their youth to the vast spectrum of tastes these friends have developed over the years, reaching far outside the rock and punk universes one might expect.

If you haven’t heard of these two kids, you will in the next few years. Josh Gooch (who possesses an audiophonic and photographic memory) and Graham Whitform (son of Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford) were both finalists of the 2009 Guitar Center King of Blues competition. Both are big Dunlop users.
