Why don’t you make a signature pedal with the Jimmy Page specifications of his fuzz pedal, overdrive pedal, wah pedal and even his phaser pedal

  • http://facebook.com Sumner Hitchcox

I would love to see a fantastic clean booster. All clean boosts i have tried sound so bad, and i would love a good one.

  • http://www.buddyhawke.com/ BuddyHawke

A distortion pedal based off a current punk artist like Rise Against or Joby from the Bronx?

  • Lucas LeCompte

John Petrucci. He uses the cry baby system in his rack, why not give him his own sig pedal? I sure he would put it to good use.

  • Chris

I want to see Dunlop make a Jimmy Page distortion! That would be amazing!!!

  • http://www.myspace.com/soundorigin Ben E.

Dunlop needs to make a sweet harmonizer pedal. Capture the multiple guitar sound.

  • Steve Mateo

Make a Randy Rhoads Pedal that has the early Ozzy album sounds

  • Michael Kypraios

Maybe something entirely new and mindblowing. Something that has to do with todys techno influences. Something that could do some “matt bellamy” sounds!

  • Anthony Mullin

How about a James Hetfield multi fx pedal. Something to create his signature tight and scooped distortion, and a chorus to create that signature clean tone a la Call of Ktulu, Fade to Black, you know the sound I mean.

  • Danny

A Joe Perry Talkbox!! It would be called Let the Music Do the Talking.

  • Brendan McCusker

Tony Iommi sig series pedals would be a dream come true
    maybe a parapedal/rangemaster in a single pedal

  • Joe

I think you should make a pedal that switches between different guitars and amps to get such guitars as the gibson double neck sg or an ibanez jem without having to pay high quality for high prices

  • http://www.ljutepapricice.com Bogdan

I would love to see a Larry Graham signature fuzz and/or octaver bass pedal.

  • fishlog

I have never heard of a pedal that would some how modulate your sound to simulate a slide guitar. There are acoustic simulators, octave pedals to make guitars sound like a bass and others but nothing that simulates a slide type sound as far as I know.

  • http://www.muzicosphere.com/?lang=en Sarssipius

You should do a Vernon Reid distortion pedal… I’d love to see such piece of gear!! You could call it Living Distortion or Distorted Colour…

  • Seth Watson

i play guitar and bass, and im a HUGE metalhead. i’d like to see a sig. Matt Tuck multi effect pedal, sumthin to get his same high gain with the nice scooped mids. he uses various effects for solos, it’d be cool to mimic that.
For bass, i would absolutely LUV to see a Robert Trujillo distortion/overdrive pedal. he is the definition of a metal bassist. takes charge but dsnt overpower. he’s got cool tone.

  • Chris Barry

I would like to see the creation of a shogaze chorus/flanger in the style of Robin Guthrie.

  • http://www.effectsdatabase.com/ DiscoFreq

A Bootsy Collins envelope filter for bass!

  • JoseU

    Some Les Paul´s tribute pedal.

  • http://www.asideproject.com George Middlebroks

    Bob Mould signature Distortion+ !!!

  • Stevan Jasiunas

Personally I’d like to see something like a tap delay pedal that also has a tremolo effect on it.

  • dan

how about a Randy Rhoads OD pedal modeled after the MXR distortion +, which randy used but make it a an official OD with a black shell and white polka dots

  • Darrell Earwood

I would like to see custom Artist pedals made where all effects are preset to his or her distinct sound eg.. Brent Mason pedal with compressor, delay, and amp sim already programmed.

  • Khalid Ameer

Well I would like to see how wah wah pedals are made I am a big fan of your “Cry Baby” product. I my self is an engineer & I have also tried designed the wah wah pedal but unfortunately the Inductor of 500 mili henry which is not available in our region so could not make it.
Secondly I would also love to see your Distortion Box & Delay Box how they are made because all these pedals are the basic need for every guitar player

  • FredB

    Alex Lifeson flanger!

  • http://lonephantom.wordpress.com Stephen Smith

I’ve love to see some sort of MXR/Dunlop Multi-FX board like a GT8, Zoom G7.1ut, or Tonelab, etc.

  • Buddy Garrett

I would like to see you make a B B King pedal.

  • http://HUNT4MUSIC.com Robbie Hunt

A pedal to run the same same effects loop through two different amps being played in stereo.

  • Ray Otstott

A pedal that makes me sound like EC, EJ, SRV, Carlos, Dr. May, Jimi, Gilmour, Trower… What? It’s in the hands? Damn…

  • Rob Uchniat

A B.B. King pedal! It would have a smooth, and powerful overdrive, and a Tone that would be adjustable, but notched to roll back the treble, and boost the mids, and bass. Either the Tone pot, or a switch would control the notch to allow for single coils, or humbuckers to get the B.B. sound. The O.D. should be adjustable from smooth to a little dirty. It should probably have a Level (with extra clean gain), Drive, and Tone control (possibly with a switch for single/humbucker).

  • danjan

brent hinds signature wah “weeping giant”

  • Fernando Hernandez

A Ty Tabor King’s X signature distortion or chorus pedal. He’s been a huge influence and I’ve always loved his sound.

  • http://www.myspace.com/leechavezmusic Lee Chavez

Heres my list of artist I think you guys should make an Over Drive pedal:

    Angus Young:

Just a sparkling rich high volume to the point of natural overdrive type overdrive

    Mark Morton

Not to much gain, just enough to push the volume and give a bit more gain.

    EVH

Distortion or overdrive that has, dare I say… THE BROWN SOUND in a stomp box!

    Lee Chavez

Something to push his JCM 800 2203′s into max overdrive for blistering lead tones.

    Kerry King

Just to push his crushing tone from his amps, to max OD.

    As for a wah pedal…

    I would have to say:

    Jerry Cantrell

    Eric Clapton

    Lee Chavez

  • Elric

You should make a signature pedal for artists like John Petrucci or Steve Vai, even though Vai has his JEMini series more pedals can’t hurt =)

  • Henry D’Angelo

Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe deserves a line. His guitar sound on Dr. Feelgood was unique and awesome.

  • http://www.myspace.com/theamplifiedhitman Christopher Billings

I would love to see a Tom Morello Wah Pedal.

  • Arnel

How about making a Buckethead killswitch pedal (it would be a some kind of a distortion/tremolo pedal)?

  • Bryan Hagwood

I’m ready for a Carbon Copy analog delay!

  • chris austin

i think it would be cool to see a randy rhoads issue of the distortion plus pedal.

  • Jason

I would love to see a David Gilmour pedal – maybe a Uni-Vibe version!

  • Jay

A pearl jam pedal, like a Mike McCready distortion

  • Alicia

I would like to see something dedicated to Leo Fender and another to Les Paul.

  • Craig Portman

A toss between a Stevie Ray overdrive/univibe combo pedal (with wah too!?) or a Tiny Tim Flower Power Phaser for me!

  • Petr Vavrik

I´d like to see John Petrucci signature Cry baby wah, Zakk Wylde signature chorus pedal.

  • Vinicius Guedes

I would like a Paul Gilbert phaser 100.

  • oguzhan demir

i would like to see KARL LOGAN signature heavy metal pedal. for the all of manowar fans.

  • Arnel

MXR has a lot of great pedals , but the ones that i most like are Flanger and Phase 90 .
It would be great to combine these two pedals in one.
And the one i already mentioned the killswitch pedal (Buckethead/Morello style).

  • http://www.liso.it Liso

More out of Zakk Wylde!! :)

  • Josh Spiva

James Hetfield Overdrive/Distortion, Tom Morello Wah

  • Shaun

a super controllable distortion pedal…with eq..

  • Metalhead88

Randy Rhoads Distortion/Overdrive and more ZAKK WYLDE!!!!

  • corby

I would like a true bypass pedal switcher (like a 4 loop true bypass box).

  • Patrick Belanger

I would love to see Kirk Hammett Overdrive pedal, especially since there wasent one included in the kh95(wich would have been a good idea…kinda ala slash wah but with a tubescremer-ish overdrive instead of a distortion)

  • Roger

I would love to see Angus Young overdrive with true bypass switcher.

  • regis

Buckethead synth-wah/killswitch that would be kick ass! It would have to have a momentary (open) stomp switch.

  • http://www.effectsbay.com EffectsBay

I’d like to see some type of ‘dual’ overdrive as separate pedals or combined in one box.

  • Chris

I would love to see a Jimmy Page distortion or a Angus Young distortion

  • Frank Kwiatkowski

    How ’bout a Pitch Shifter?

  • http://www.facebook.com/akshat.srivastava Akshat Srivastava

I would love to see something like an Amp modelling based pedal… kinda like the FDR. Make a JCM800 footstomp.

  • http://www.bobwelch1863.com Bob Welch

A Brian Setzer delay/echo. Think “Sleepwalk.”

  • http://www.myspace.com/thesentonbombs Johnny Gibbons

I’d like to see a David Gilmour signature compressor, I believe he has a Dynacomp in his setup… An artist-tweaked version from him would be killer. :D

  • http://www.myspace.com/cementseason Ian Powell

Simple true bypass multi effects box

  • Donald Hajek

A Dimebag Darrell parametric equalizer based on the Furman PQ-3

  • Sandro RogĂ©rio

    I´d like an pitch shifter!!!!

  • Allen Scarborough

Please gimme one of those Carbon Copies and I’ll replace my Boss delay.

  • John

    A J Mascis fuzz pedal!

  • Dan Barnes

I’ve used the Dunlop Crybaby Wah pedal for years and it has to be my favorite pedal in my loop.

  • steve mundy

would really love a pedal that could really nail an old echoplex i know you can do it fender got close on the new deluxe vintage modified amp.

  • Kyle Dapkus

I can’t get enough of the Dimebag Wah lately, the flexibility is awesome. That wah rips!!

  • Ed James

I gots to win this time!!!!

  • Kristoffer Krogerus

A David Gilmour Dynacomp, Phase 90 or Fuzz Face.

  • Matt

    How about a Dethklok Distortion?!

  • http://www.myspace.com/josephewoodard Joe Hammer

Jerry Cantell Talkbox or James Hetfield Distortion please!

  • Mike

I’d like to see maybe a Brian Setzer preamp, tonal controls included, a Gilmour Rotating sim.

  • Ken

A Fat Boy Pedal might be interesting

  • http://sites.google.com/site/coldcrafteffects austin

Output buffers on all wah pedals!

  • Robert Craig

I think a Brent Hinds from Mastodon pedal would be cool. Or something from Adam Jones of Tool.

  • Rick Will

Put the primary colors all in one box…..red- Dyna Comp…..blue- Blues Box…..yellow- Distortion +.
Get a nice compressed sound of a guitar going into either the Blues Box or Distortion + by adding clean sustain for a blues or rock sound for lead work and/or cording. Or use each pedal individually.

  • conor day

I think an alex lifeson chorus pedal would be a fantastic idea. He is one of the most underappreciated guitarists out there.

  • Alejandro Mercado

You guys have to make something with Omar Rodriguez pedal!!! Like a filter with some sort of delay in it!!! Kinda like a growler where you turn it on and the growler is there then you hold on the button and a delay kicks in or something. Or just have two button on it with a midi out for tap tempo too!!!! That would be freaking AWESOME!!!!! I would buy that in a heart beat!!!!

  • Ben McCraw

A distortion pedal capable of producing anormous amounts of gain for the requirements
    of todays death metal bands.

  • Jacob VanSickle

I would like to see an overdrive pedal for Rik Emmit from Triumph. He has a pretty cool crunch sound.

  • David

George Harrison digital sitar simulator effect.

  • Aaron Troyer

    John Petrucci overdrive pedal.

  • Jacob Caminati

I’d love to see a Dug Pinnick overdrive for bass.

  • Alex

Jonh Petrucci Overdrive/ Distortion. Would be great

  • Anthony Ferrazzano

I would love a Randy Rhoads distortion of some kind. Maybe a signature Script Distortion Plus?
Or perhaps a Randy Rhoads 10-band EQ with his custom settings–sort of like the Kerry King EQ.

  • Shaun Hadley

A Chris Wolstenholme of muse signature bass pedal which has distortion, synth and octave features rolled into one.
The synth would have characteristics similar to the akai deep impact
The distortion would be reminicent to the big muff that he uses
Finally, the bass octave would resemble the mxr bass octave deluxe because of its ability to track well.

The pedal would house a 3-band EQ
The pedal would also have a dry out for the ability to bi-amp

  • Andrew Perkins

I think a cool thing to do woul be to make a volume/loop pedal hybrid. Therefore you could tweak each of the loops volume settings to give them specific attitudes and feels whilst also altering them using the pedal at will.

  • http://www.guitarworld.com Brian Ma

I’d like to see the Dunlop pitch shifter redone with a pedal. Could make for some very interesting sounds.

  • http://myspace.com/madisonfadeout brandon herron

I would love to see an Andy Summers designed flange. While we’re at it,
throw in some beautiful analog delay in the same pedal. :)

  • Stephen Heil

I’d like you to make a looper/multi-phrase sampler pedal with Andrew Bird as the signature artist.

  • http://FindThe01.com Carter C.

Some of the guys from David Crowder Band do some crazy stuff that I would love to see in pedal form. Other than that, knock it off with signature versions of existing pedals. It encourages players to copy others rather than inventing a new sounds; also, it doesn’t give us any new capabilities.

  • Terry koski

Randy Rhoads Distortation + or Distortion and Fuzz that captures his sound.
Make it white and black Dotted like his V or Black and Gold.

  • Tucker

a Jerry Cantrell dirt box would be pretty cool

  • Derrick Burns

A Tim McTague Distortion pedal would be awesome!!! With the Underoath Ă on it!!!

  • http://guitarshopblog.com JD

I’d like to see a Dick Dale distortion box.

    Rock on!

    JD

  • Paul Lubonski

    MXR distortion pedal.

  • alex sabeski

I’d like to see a Randy Rhoads singnature Distortion Plus.

  • Nick

    Jason becker

  • Chris

Jimmy Page distortion would be amazing! Or a Angus Young distortion! ROCK ON!

  • Mark Amano

I’d like to see a Neal Schon Distortion pedal

  • Tony D

Brent Hinds/Billy K Mastodon distortion or Jerry Cantrell wah

  • John Walker

I like the MXR Distortion+ as my favorite effects box by Dunlap. The reason is simple. This pedal exhibits all the tone and power of 1970s and 1980s Rock music and can be found on many of the classic rock songs from that period. Its’ simple to use features makes it a pleasure to set up and gives any tube amplifier the extra “kick” it needs to blaze through rythm and lead guitar sections. This is truly a legendary effects box and cannot be overlooked in a musicians gear collection.

  • Charles Clemmer

Randy Rhoads Distortion+, black with white polka dots.

  • sean

    A “Revolution” distortion pedal.
Basically what is would be is a small, Phase 90 sized pedal with one Gain knob. The overall volume depends on your amps volume setting and guitar volume.

What does it do? Replicate PERFECTLY the NASTY-AS-HELL distortion sound on the Beatles song “Revolution”.

  • http://www.myspace.com/sharpestblades Marco Montagna

    a distortion for James Hetfield

  • J. Scime

I’d like to see a Brad Paisley signature compressor for the ultimate in chickin-pickin’ squish!

  • Chad Larson

    A Kelly Hayes Modulation pedal

  • Daniel

David Gilmour Yamaha RA-200 rotating speaker simulator.

  • graham eckford

Mattias Eklund. An OD pedal designed to bring out harmonics.

  • Francis Pineda

A Mike Einziger Phaser. IMHO, he popularized it and set the standards of how to use it in songs.

  • Kai

A Carbon Copy with tap tempo!

  • http://none Tony

Robin Trower type pedal would be cool……….

  • Travis Mitchell

How about a Stevie Ray Vaughan wah that has not distortion but TS808 style overdrive built into it that u can dial in on and change the level and tone of. Then u could get that Say What tone.

  • Fred

My favorite is the MXR Classic Distortion pedal, but sure would sound better with a Carbon Copy!!

  • Stewart Coleman

I would like to see a Terry Kath wah pedal.

  • chris

This pedal would go great with my MXR EQ!

  • mike nova

a signature pedal representing tones and effects used by the edge from u2 would be pretty unique…

  • Craig

I’d like to see a Clapton wah pedal. It’s been long overdue. I don’t know if his wahs in the Cream days were heavily modded, but no wah tone has topped his in White Room and tales of Brave Ulysses. He made it talk like nobody else. I didn’t dig the latest Hendrix wah at all, so this would be really cool. I’m wondering how EVH ( who I love – no disrespect Eddie!) got a signature wah before EC did. Eddie is the last guy I think of when wah wah comes to mind. As a 2nd pick I like the request for a Randy Rhoads distortion.

  • Brian M.

I’d like to see a Kirk Hammett distortion pedal. Something that would allow the user to dial in different sounds from his entire catalog of sounds.

  • Joe

I would love to see a Tony Iommi treble booster/ distortion, or a Michael Amott distortion; something with a good tight low end for downtuned riffs.

  • Jools

    Mark Ernustus delay pedal

  • Jason

    Andy Summers Chorus pedal

  • Jay

The Edge – delay pedal. Take the Carbon Copy and make it a twin delay!

  • Wade

I’d love to see a Death Cab For Cutie pedal. Not the new sound but the old, 90s sound.

  • jody tessier

i wish they would come out with a james hetfield distortion pedal!

  • Ryan Bond

    Mike McCreedy Wah.

  • Steve Torres

The Dunlop Jazz III picks are the only picks I’ll ever use. Superior picking articulation!

  • randy eichman

I’d love to see a simple, basic signal splitter with individual level controls for each output, to make it easy to split your guitar signal, without coloration, between two amps or to an amp and a mixer board. It could be a simple variation on the current micro amp pedal. Splitting to 3 outputs would be even better!

  • Zaid

For an artists signature pedal hmm. Early in his career with the stray cats Brian Setzer was using an mxr so why not have Setzer signature echo for that early stray cats tone.

  • http://myspace.com/deliverancemachine Rob Quillen

Please re-release the Aqua Puss. You can make it a Brad Paisley Puss if you want, but just get that thing back on the shelves. Thank you. :-)

  • http://myspace.com/mutilist Kurt

For the next Dunlop Pedal I would love to see a Tony Iommi Distortion Pedal that has that extremely thick classic Black Sabbath tone! That, or a combination Wah and Volume Pedal that is spring loaded.

  • http://myspace.com/mutilist Kurt

I would like to see a Tony Iommi signature Distortion/Overdrive Pedal with that classic Sabbath tone and/or a combination spring loaded Wah/Volume Pedal

  • Todd Chasse

    Jerry Garcia modeling pedal

  • C Slep

How about an Alex Lifeson Phase/Flange pedal?

  • Jacob LaFountaine

    Alex Lifeson 2112 pedal

  • Shelby MacAulay

yeah a clapton wah would be amazing, or a clapton distortion pedal to get his sick bluesy tone

  • Ken Zenaida

Read a guitar mag review on a new version of a fuzz pedal that Hendrix used and seemed it might resolve my quest for the best OD/fuzz/distortion sound. So I went to the Dunlop web sight to hear it. There I found several such pedals and I listened to them all. I chose the Custom Shop GT – Overdrive. More expensive but it’s the one. The web sight was very helpful.

  • David Sensenstein

    Greg Koch Spank Box.

  • http://www.doad.org Doad

An MXR smart harmonizer/voice/synth pedal that does things that no one has ever heard a guitar do before.

  • chris powell

awwwk. i’d like a space ace {ace frehley} chorus/ echo pedal considered. since both in 1 pedal would save a stomp when switching from a clean setting . the delay could be advanced with 1 knob just for echo with considered amount of regen and mix for the amount of time ,and the chorus could be left the same controls.i personally think 2 in 1 effects will be the future of effect pedals or musicians will be forced to use rack gear to achive their desired tones.

  • Greg O’Block

I would like to see you guys make a Dan Donegan signature distortion pedal, and an Adrian Smith/Dave Murray signature overdrive pedal :)

  • R. Brandon

A Stevie Ray Vaughan Vibrolux or Leslie simulator pedal

  • Bernard Rey

    A Carlos Santana overdrive?

  • http://www.protosonic.com Chris Pederson

I’d like to see a Justin Chancellor (Tool) bass boost/overdrive pedal that captures that pristine detail across all frequencies but still gives an edge and menace to the sound.

  • http://www.daddy-o.us Robert E. Chandler

The MXR Carbon Copy is the best delay I have ever used in the last 40+ years of performing.

  • Daryl Carter

Wow! how about a David Gilmour Dark Side Of The Moon pedal to capture some of his tones with Pink Floyd((distortion, delay, chorus, etc.)

  • Kai Liebrand

    A Robert Trujillo bass drive.

  • Stephen Barta

I would love to see a Reverend Horton Heat Overdrive / Echo deal, something prefect for rockabilly and the like!

  • Jesse Bates

I’d love to see a Tony Iommi fuzz/distortion/overdrive type deal, something that nails that old school Sabbath sound.

  • Andy B

    Mike McCready Wah/Overdrive…

  • Dan

hmmm…………let’s see, that’s a tough one guys, you already have a lot of gadgets. How bout expanding on the carbon copy with say maybe a tap tempo footswitch and continuous control of the time control via a rocker pedal. Reverb pedal anyone??

  • Alan

    Bring back the Green Rhino

  • http://www.toomuchsaturn.com mark hoffmann

singing the praises of a criminally unrated and under recognized guitar player. Perhaps the best one you’ve never heard of…

    Michael Gurley of dada.

Remember Dizzkneeland? (“I’m going to Dizz knee land”) from dada’s 1992 release Puzzle? Well these guys are still at it and have released 7 stunning CDs since then. Michael also put out a CD with his other band Butterfly Jones.

Why this music isn’t more well known is beyond me. Awesome tones, chops, songwriting and vocals from a truely incredible player.

How about a Michael Gurley Signature Wah voiced after his Colorsound Wah? I dare you. I double dare you.

  • Greg

How about a multi-effects pedal that encompasses all of Dunlop’s greatest achievements?

  • http://deleted Mario

    i’m in

  • michael mclaughlin

how about a John Petrucci signature wah?

  • http://theeldorados.org Mark Scardello

I would really like to see a pedal that achives the super dripping wet sound of Dick Dale, much like the sound of the early 60′s reverb tank. I know another company has recently done that but I’m sure that MXR would do it better. You should call it SuperDrip. Thanks!

  • Josh Hischar

I think a Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead Envelope Filter would be extremely cool and marketable. There are a lot of gear heads looking for cheap subsitutes for the discontinues DOD440 and the old Mu-Tron envelope filters. if you could nail that vintage mu-tron sound then we would have a really marketable pedal! think of the end of Paranoid Android!

  • http://myspace.com/joerutledge Joe

How about an all analog chorus pedal. This has been missing from the MXR line for some time now. Everything else is great….but we need an awesome small footprint CHORUS pedal!!! :-)

  • Craig Enser

I’d like to see a jerry cantrell overdrive, like that heavy bogner tone he has

  • Dimitar

    Dunlop rules

  • D.D. Kalfin

Dunlop has always been in my rig \m/

  • Jamie

Definitely agree with the Toni Iommi overdrive pedal. I’d love to see and play on one of those. His tone from Black Sabbath is just the perfect metal sound.

  • Moon

If your looking for a selling point you already have it “Dunlop”

  • Justin

The Jazz III was like finding something that I was missing the entire 10 years I was playing guitar before using them. The MXR 10 band EQ is one of those products that you realize you would pay much more for, once you use it!

  • Steve

I agree with the others. Cantrell pedal, aside from the wah or something with Murray and Smith from Iron Maiden

  • Michael

Why not make an expression pedal with the carbon copy to alter the delay somehow

  • Chris Laskowski

I would love to see a dual-drive – two overdrive units in one – with a mix control to combine processed and clean signals

  • Tom Hannon

I would love to see a signature David Gilmour effects pedal. Either a compression or chorus pedal. Something that could capture the emotion and feel that David Gilmour is famous for.

  • Anthony Hoffman

An MXR multi-effects pedal would be appreciated, since my pedal board is getting a little bloated. Thanks.

  • DaveO

these mxr pedals are some of the best on the market. a new version of the envelope pedal would be great to see.

  • Casey Scott

How about a Micheal Lee Firkins signature pedal that captures his clean tone? It’s clear and cutting without being tinny or thin. That would make a great pedal.

  • Eric

How about an Alex Lifeson Signature pedal (either a distortion or a chorus)?
Especially a chorus, (When I think “Classic Chorus”, I think “Rush”)!
There isn’t a whole lot of Lifeson signature gear out there. Which is a shame because he is a great guitarist with his own unique sound.

  • Lloyd N.

    Dunlop…Nuff Said

  • Daniel K.

I would love to see Dunlop develop and market a muti-effects unit similar to the old Ibanez UE-400 and UE-405 units. You could include a classic chorus, (I like that Alex Lifeson chorus suggestion:hats off to Eric!) perhaps the Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face, a good compressor, and of course, the MXR Carbon Copy. The effects complement is endless really, just look at all the good ideas on this blog thus far. Include a good control pedal with it along with a send and return for outside effects as well. Of course you would want it to be analog.

I can see and hear it now: the lights go down, the auditorium is packed, “Hey (insert name of city) are you all ready for a rock-n-roll party? Would you please welcome…from Birmingham, England…The Disenfranchised!”
The stage lights come to life and some 120 pound kid steps on the distortion button of the Dunlop Quadrock foot controller and lets loose with a beautiful flurry of chords. The blue lighted Dunlop logo on the unit inside the road case almost looks cooler than the band.

  • Ian Felchlin

I’d love to see a pedal made that’s a good, solid, envelope filter. Like an EMMA Discombobulator for people who don’t want to drop over $200. Something that tracks well and perhaps has some options as to sounds from different eras. The ability to really adjust frequency levels would be great, as would the shape of the filter. Maybe a bit of drive control thrown in for good measure. House it in any of the usual Dunlop pedal enclosures, and it’d be good to go through hell.

  • Joe Lorigo

The fuzz with the buffer in it looks cool. Can’t wait to try it!

  • Derek Hope

I think i would be great if there was a multi effect unit that house the MXR effects in a rack, With different routing options, Like having some effects in front of the amp, and some in the effect loops. I not found of the effect proccesers for T.C. electronics, rocktron etc, Its not organic like pedals. It would be nice to be able to use all the MXR pedals without having to tap dance, or buy a separate routing unit.

As for signature pedals, It would be cool to see a Alexi Laiho Distortion pedal. The preamp he uses would be really hard to find. It would be cool if it were a dual pedal, One side for with preamp amp tone, and a gain boost on the other, like the one he has built into his guitars. I am a big fan of David Gilmour, and love his delay and chorus tones. That would be great to see, and hear!

  • NikoAsh

Please make a Jimmy Page Fuzz !

  • Brian Cole

How about something involving Chris Poland? The guy has his own style and sound. He uses a lot of effects so it could be anything: overdrive, ring modulator, delay, verb, etc.

  • Chad Williamson

My favorite Dunlop product is the Slash Signature Crybaby. It gives an excellent clean and distorted sound, with it’s very vocal, and wide, range it gives a wah sound that really makes me just love playing it. And that’s what really makes it an excellent buy, any pedal that makes you love playing any more is priceless.

  • Goatusmaximus

Hi I would like to see a Paul Hogan (the guitarist, not the actor) tremelo. One of the sweetest players on the planet.

  • http://n/a Mark G Davis

I’d like to see a Live/D.I. pedal that emulates my old “1969 TRAYNOR YBA-1″ bass amp with cabnet eq’s that give the 8×10 and 2×15 options! It could also have different inputs eq’d for guitar and/or bass! Wouldn’t hurt to have an extra gain control for the guitar input also! Being that the amp is made with 3(!) AX7 tubes the gain stage for both sides could get outrages! Maybe even put a REAL AX7 TUBE in the pedal itself? For those who have never heard a TRAYNOR YBA-1, think super clean SVT with MORE TONE and BITE!!

  • nick

a david gilmour chorus fo sho.

  • http://www.myspace.com/thefourfatherssf Doug

Dunlop should come out with a MIDI controller like the DMC Ground Control Pro but with the following difference:
[1] user friendly with a USB interface and desktop application for quick programming
[2] display that is legible in both sunlit and dark stage scenarios
[3] ease of labeling the program change and CC buttons

  • http://therikters.com owen

Juan Alderate (Racer X / Mars Volta) bass fuzz/flange. that guy is waaaaay under-appreciated.

  • pabst

My favorite up till now is the cry-baby wah… just adds a whole new dimension to my sound!!

  • Roaster

Not sure if anyone else suggested this… but how about an Andy Summers CE-1 clone chorus pedal? He’s definitely one of the players that first comes to mind when I think of chorus effects. Or maybe Alex Lifeson?

  • Nicolas Kauffmann

I would like to see some kind of Matthew Bellamy overdrive/fuzz pedal. He gets some wicked tones live and in the studio. Sometimes it even seems like there might be some octave or synth effect blended in. Maybe an expression pedal out to have a dry/effect mix.

  • Maximiliano Padron

It would be great if could do a A/B amp switcher with a Boost, and maybe with an EQ for Each channel, I´ll defenetly buy that pedal haha…. mean while i´ll stick around with my 95Q cry baby, super awesome pedal guys! nice work..

  • jim scott

I have enjoyed every Dunlop product I have owned. I hope to one day own them all. Thanks Dunlop…

  • Seth Okrend

I’d like to see a Larry Carlton tone pedal.

  • Eric

Billy Gibbons Nasty Dogs and Funky Kings fuzz!

  • Eli

I found an old beat-up crybaby at the pawn. Ilove it and will never take it off my pedal board. I would like to see a Wylde OD with boost.

  • Mikes

My fave is my buddy’s Carbon Copy. I play it every chance I get!

  • Steve

I would love to see a Joe Bonamassa Blues overdrive pedal or maybe a signature wah…..he is an amazing guitarist and deserves his own signature pedal (to go with his signature Gibson Gold Top Les Paul)

  • Michael Wickett

    Eric Johnson

  • Brent Williams

What kind of new Dunlop pedal would you like to see made?

How about a nicely transparent, full sounding, true-bypass, lower gain overdrive pedal in general? Not a buzzy sandbox…Just a bit ‘o’ grit.
Call it the “Hot Grits.” “Greasy-Grits
Make it a two button “two-in-one” pedal with an independent clean boost attached.
Call the boost section, Butter” or “Oleo” or “Fatback”

Get yo’ self some Funky Soul food, then Get yo’ self the new funky soul pedal from Dunlop.
Lawdy, Lawdy, pass me some o that “Hot Grits!

So many pedals are geared for high gain which isn’t that appealing to jazz, blues, funk and soul players.

How about a John Scofield signature light overdrive pedal that gets his gritty funky tone.
Maybe you could get Soulive’s Eric Krasno on board with you.

    Brent.

  • http://www.myspace.com/johnryzkanin John R. Yzkanin

I just purchased the MXR CAE MC-401 Line Driver Boost. It sounds great when fed with 18 volts. My signal couldn’t be better or hotter or cleaner. This pedal is excellent.

  • Ralph Mouland

Dual boost with dedicated level controls. One cancels the other. Third switch for (true) bypass. Both boosts each with serial fx loop that includes any other pedal that happens to be plugged in and on.

Can be based on their current boost pedal circuits; pure clean boost that does not alter tone.

Make it and I’ll buy it!

    MXR ‘Double Trouble’….?

  • Patrick

Some people are taking this way too seriously. I think a BB King trem pedal would be fun.

  • reggie bussey

hey 3rd time is a charm! I think some kind of expermental frank zappa type of pedal would be cool.

  • Bryce T

Some kind of signature delay pedal for the edge would be pretty cool…pretty cool…pretty cool…

  • http://www.soundclick.com/theartfuldodger Taylor N

I’m very satisfied with Dunlop’s current product line, but I’d like to see a bigger and more badass version of the Carbon Copy made. Maybe longer delay times could be an added feature.

  • Alfreda

Put me in the drawing for the contest

  • http://cloudyproject.com Cloudy

My fave dunlops: crybaby (I also have a 1979 MXR Flanger, guess that sorta counts kinda!)

I’d like to see a slow-gear type pedal with a delay circuit – controls for speed and depth of the volume swell, and speed/mix/feedback for the delay.. for those alex-lifeson bowed sounds…

  • http://icpjugallo@yahoo.com Rafael Walters

would like to see one for Lamb of god,Kataklysm. Would be cool, with there riffs

  • dave goray

I love this website I need More

  • Alex Grimaldo

I would like to see Dunlop come out with an Original Crybaby that is just switchless and nothing else.

  • leah

I think it would be cool to see some kind of David Gilmour or Alex Lifeson signature pedal.
Maybe a Compressor or Delay for gilmour, and a Drive or Chorus for Lifeson.

  • http://n/a Rick Richardson

I wanna win a Carbon Copy Pedal!

  • Marc Donalson

My favorite Dunlop pedal has to be my Jimi Hendrix signature wah. This is the latest Hendrix wah and it really captures that wah sound I have searched for over the years. The build quality inside this unit is top notch and of boutique quality.

  • Jake Betts

A Layne Staley distortion pedal would be cool…

  • Valery Kalfin

    Dunlop is amazing

  • Dimitar Kalfin

I have used the Dime wah for the past 2 years and its by far the most solid piece of gear i own. thanks Dunlop u guys rock \m/

  • Dimitar Kalfin

Forgot to mention I would love to see some overdrive or distortion pedal that gives a Motorhead type of sound

  • Tim Creek

A new Dunlop pedal? How about two 6-band eq pedals in one box? It would be great to have 2 different eq settings available on my pedal board, without taking up a lot of space!

  • Bryan

How about a Marc Bolan octave fuzz?

  • Davis Yarbrough

a Matthew Bellamy(Muse) fuzz pedal. thats some good sounding fuzz id like to be able to recreate a little easier

  • Betsy

A blackmoore fuzz or trebble booster.

  • ryan

How about an Edge of U2 delay.

  • http://? Jose Alvarez

I love my MXR Classic 108 Fuzz. Just ordered a Buddy Guy Crybaby Wah…can’t wait to get it!

  • Cody

A pedal that is switchable between Jimi Hendrix’s Germanium Fuzz Face through a cranked Marshall and his BOG Silicon Fuzz Face through a cranked marshall, and it should double as a headphone amp!

  • Zee

Anything signature for Steve Howe of Yes. Perhaps an OD or something.

  • GARY VICUNA

The Dunlop David Gilmour Dark Side of The Delay pedal.

  • Justin Love

I think you guys should make a tape delay like the old Echoplex’s … only they should be affordable unlike the Fulltone tape delay that costs 1000 bones.

  • Gonzalo Luyo

a pedal of my bloody valentine kevin shields

  • Jim Marvin

I am just now putting together my first pedal board. The delay is something I’ve been concerned about. Maybe overly concerned. Guitar players tend to be a little…uh…sensative about tone. I’ve contacted exactly six stores in my area and talked with the tech’s about which of delay’s their store sells that should make it on to the board. The Carbon Copy is the first choice every time. Having played it. I agree.

  • C Dill

    Count me in…

  • Mike M.

A “Creepy Tool” pedal. Based on Adam Jones from Tool. Distortion/Overdrive w/ delay, boost the mids and give you that full saturated tone that it seems only Adam Jones is able to obtain. If you build it, it will sell!

  • Michael S Fillipi

To make this fun, How about an A/B pedal of Larry King/Rush Limbaugh Style; mild manner to Bouncy and smoking.

  • Adam Nathani

I’m going to have to go with either an Adam Jones pedal to get that grungy Tool sound, or a Matthew Belamy pedal to get that distorted fuzz sound

  • Kyle Miller

I would love to see another double distorition/overdrive pedal along the same lines as the old doubleshot pedal, with very warm tones htat have a nice crunch like the Wylde overdrive and with the ability to get really nasty distortion like a cross between the Distortion III and Dimebag Darrell’s pedal. And the ability to do both simultaneoulsy on 9 volts.

I also would like to see another delay unit from MXR that was as warm sounding as the Carbon Copy, but with tap tempo features and the ability to maybe do two delays simultaneously, an ambient Gilmour style coupled with a “trick” Edge style delay.

I own a Wylde overdrive, a Classic Distortion, and an EVH phaser, top-notch pedals all the way.

  • Michael Manak

I would like to see a pedal that mimics a pair of tweed Fender twins , so one could have both clean and overdrive sounds with slightly different eq’s if desired. Layered together . ala. Keith Richards

  • Silentgirl88

    john petrucci

  • Robert Adkison

    Metal distortion with some crunch.

  • Frank Berdini

Warren Haynes Signature Tremolo Pedal. That’d be sick.

  • Scott

D.D. Verni (OVERKILL) pedal with tone/shape controls and some agressive bite would be great.

  • http://guitarworld Dave Walker

I would like to see a fuzzy metal………………………pedal. Something a little different than the other types, big muff pi or other fuzzes. High on fire, The Sword tone.

  • John Lindberg

A better rotating speaker simulator. Tube emulation, high and low rotor separation, ramp up and down. Must be true bypass and maybe even have a real tube.

  • axeshredder

  • http://Premierguitar Darryl

Your pedals are great. A “Leslie” style and a “Robin Trower” style, would be a great addition to the family of dUNLOP PEDALS.

  • sean

a high gain fuzz box that fits easily on a pedal board or a vintage style reverb

  • sean

    Vintage style reverb.

  • william walls
