What is the quintessential song that best personifies Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears?

We just put out a video for a song on the new album called “Mustang Ranch.” I think it’s a good introduction to the band, showing off some of our bluesier, more rock ‘n’ roll style.

Why do you choose to use Dunlop Strings?

They can really hold up on the road. We’re always going through strings because we tour so much.

What images does the sound of a Fuzz Face conjure up in your mind?

Faces being melted off by scuzz rock annihilation.

What’s next on the horizon for you guys?

A European tour at the end of September, hopefully another US tour before too long.
