    That’s tough with SO MANY amazing bassists out there and too many genres to choose from. Without going the expected route and choosing someone like Jaco, Victor, Les, etc., one particular bassist (among the many) that stands in the higher floors of the tower would be Joe Raposo from RKL (Rich Kids on LSD). Definitely and underrated bassist. Favorite song? Hmm… Probably “In Your Mind” from the album “Riches To Rags”. Also the song “Motherfucker” from the album “Reactivate”. Simply a great bassist.

    My Favorite bass player that inspires me is Cliff Burton.. Because he has proved that Bass players are more than just a rhythm guitar player. He proved that you can make some great lead riffs and solos with bass. Of course my favorite songs by Cliff are Anesthesia (pulling teeth), For whom the Bell Tolls, and Orion. But all the bass parts he has played are all great. Continues to be an inspiration even though it was only for a short time he was here….
