An’ Imma gonna crank mah dang amp up to the highest notch before mah fusebox blows. An’ Imma gonna take my 3/4″ socket dat I use for a slide an’ Imma gonna make mah cigar box guitar scream like a BEEOCH!

…because I’m all about getting the traditional sound of an old time, homemade cigar box guitar. Only Dunlop will get me there.

(yes, I do actually play a cigar box guitar. Yes, it screams like a beeoch.)

My very first pedal ever was the MXR Distortion + that I bought in ’75 or ’76. Back in those days most of us played either Twin Reverbs or 100-watt Marshall stacks. Almost nobody had (or even knew about) master volume knobs, so imagine the love I had for my MXR! We knew about fuzz pedals but they were very hard to get for some strange reason. That Distortion + changed my whole world in less than a day!

Interpol is a really good band. i got turned onto them by the local college station here in ithaca, WICB. Sweet giveaway!

Finally I will have something from my famous group! Now I can rock like Interpol does with the full hardware! Gosh, I just hope the neighbours won’t call the police … too much, because I am planning to blow the roof of my house once I receive this cool hardware package! Who needs hurricane when he can have this cool looking distortion and micro amp which when used with the right speakers, can litterally blow of the roof … but for my safety, I will use an earplug … which I will strongly advice to my neighbours too!

Interpol are Brooklyn’s own Joy Division. Their sound was very influenced by them. For this sound, they use Dunlop’s best pedals- MXR Distortion pedal, MXR Blue Box, and MXR Micro Amp to acheive this. These pedals are incredible! Thanks for having this awesome contest, I hope I can win!
