Halestorm released their new EP “ReAniMate:The Covers” today. The six song EP includes covers of some of their favorite songs including: Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”, Skid Row’s “Slave to the Grind”, and Temple of the Dog’s “Hunger Strike”. The EP was produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Motorhead, POD) and engineered by Michael Plotnikoff (Santana, Van Halen, Bon Jovi).
We caught up with the band at Bay 7 Studio’s while guitarist Joe Hottinger was cutting his tracks with a slew of Cry Baby Wah pedals. He settled with the DB-1 Dime Cry Baby from Hell pedal for the recording of “Bad Romance”. You can hear it all over the track below!
