INTRODUCING DUNLOP’S REVOLUTIONARY VOLUME PEDAL

Control your volume levels with exacting precision with the new Dunlop Volume Pedal. The Dunlop Volume Pedal features a patent pending Steel Band Drive that creates a low-friction environment with no strings or ratchet gears attached – allowing you to achieve thick, luscious volume swells in one smooth motion without the fear of breaking. With fully adjustable tension and high-quality low-noise electronic components, the sound is as clean and transparent as the feel is smooth. Housed in a lightweight but durable aluminum chassis, the pedal features a rocker pedal that is slightly curved for ergonomics, with an aggressive non-slip tread that keeps your foot firmly in place. Great features, smooth, hassle-free performance and crystalline tone make the Dunlop Volume Pedal the smart choice for every musician.

Looks nice! but … is it low or high impedance???

  • Jon Z

Howsabout using one or two of these as expression pedals?

  • Scott

I need to replace my Ernie Ball with something better. What are the length, width, and height dimensions of this new volume pedal? Are the electronics passive or active? When the pot becomes worn or scratchy, is it field replaceable by the consumer? What is the retail price, and when do they start shipping to dealers?

  • Dustin

    This pedal looks devilish

  • admin

    Dimensions: L 11-1/2″, W 4-1/2″, H 3-1/16″
    Passive device, 250k pot
The pot is rated for 1 million cycles.

In order for this to be used as an expression pedal, you’d likely need to add an extra output at the top that would allow TRS (stereo) connection for up/down changes. Even some of the Ernie Ball pedals don’t do this, but looks like there’s room up top if Dunlop decides to release an upgraded version in the future and use the same shell.

I’m sure that this will be the best volume pedal in the world. Can i use this volume pedal with my DCR2 Rack Wah like the GCB-80 High Gain Volume Pedal? Please somebody answer me….

  • George

Is it true bypass or not?

  • JT

@Thodoris: You can use this pedal with the crybaby rack, however you need to insert a 1/4″ mono dummy plug into the pedal input.

@George: This pedal, like most other volume pedals, has no bypass mode. To bypass you just rock the pedal to full toe down position which gives you full volume.

    What is the MSRP?

  • John

Also, when is a tentative release date?

  • http://www.jassygrazz.com Sam Sambob

Boss FV-500H is as good as it gets folks, 11 1/2″ long and 4 1/2″ wide? This thing is HUGE.

  • LegGodt

@Shawn … all you need is a 1/4″ TRS to dual 1/4″ mono “Y” cable to use this as a expression pedal. That is how I hooked up my Ernie Ball Jr. Now that these new Dunlop pedals are available I will be replacing my Ernie Ball Jr’s.

    Hi there!

Can you please describe me how works the Steel Band Drive Technology? I understand the principle, I just need to get the right words to explain it to some people…

    Many thanks from France!

  • James

I bought this pedal but it has a lot of play before the volume changes. Is that supposed to be that way? I might try to take it back but I want to know if it’s supposed to be that way.

All Dunlop needs to do is upgrade all existing products with this feature.

Would be great too if they released an EXPRESSION PEDAL version with a SWITCH for use with external effects. They still haven’t released an expression pedal, ever..
