We launched our new Heavy Core Strings the best way we knew how – by throwing a kickass party at the legendary Slims in San Francisco with entertainment provided by the Bay Area’s own thrash metal titans, Death Angel. Not only was the party a celebration, but also an embodiment of what Heavy Core is all about. It’s for those who live tough and fearless–those who push limits to the extremes and reject conformity to the mundane. Live fierce, live heavy to the core!

Heavy_Core_Heaviest

Heavy Core® Strings are uniquely designed for the player that enjoys higher tension at standard tuning or normal tension at dropped tunings. Our proprietary core-to-wrap ratios are meticulously calculated so the player can really “dig in” while retaining sound fundamentals. Heavy Core® Strings, like all Dunlop Strings are manufactured with the highest quality of materials and engineered for great tone, balance, and feel.

“I’m a tone freak, and these strings are without question, the heaviest sounding strings I’ve played.” – Robb Flynn (Machine Head)
