On an atypically sunny and warm day in Epsom, England, over 250 fans, winners of an online competition, lined up to see Slash for a rare meet and greet at the Dunlop-sponsored grand opening of GuitarGuitar’s newest location.

Slash, the Guns N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver axeman renowned for his low slung aviator style and legendary licks, flew into the UK  to “slash” the red ribbon on Thursday, September 15, opening up the Epsom GuitarGuitar store to meet fans and sign autographs from 2:00pm to 5:30pm.

Dunlop donated five pedals to be signed by Slash and sold by GuitarGuitar for £200 each, the proceeds to go to Love of Learning, a Surrey-based charity.
