Epitaph recording artists The Coup took time off of their busy recording schedule to visit the Dunlop HQ earlier this week. Leader and front man Boots Riley (The Coup, Street Sweep Social Club with Tom Morello), as well as their producer/engineer Damien Gallegos (Fungo Mungo, K. Brandow) expressed interest in classic analog effects for their new recording. Armed with a box of goodies—including a Cry Baby wah wah, an assortment of Fuzzes, and a Talk Box—the two hammed it up for our cameras.
Look for the new 2 disc release to coincide with an Indie film ,also currently in production, for a late 2011 release. Check out The Coup’s music at myspace.com
