Buddy Guy is without a doubt one of the best blues guitarists of all time. He’s a brilliant guitarist and showman, and has been sited by many as an inspiration to the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and many others.  We went to go see him play at the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael, CA a few weeks ago- he’s been performing for almost 50 years, and he still got it! We took a quick snapshot of the Buddy with our very own Jim Dunlop.

If you happen to catch his show (click here for tour dates), take a closer look at his wah – a custom shop job done by us. Buddy Guy helped establish the wah-wah as part of the blues vocabulary, and to honor his contributions we created the Crybaby Buddy Guy Signature Wah.
