Dunlop Classical Strings are designed to achieve tonal balance, smooth tactile feel, and the wide dynamic range required by classical guitarists. The bass strings feature a high grade silver-plated copper wrap surrounding a nylon core for increased fundamental, playability and focused low end. Our treble strings are made of Dupont Tynex® for consistency, ease of tuning, and a warm but singing tone.
Every set of Dunlop Strings come packaged utilizing three levels of moisture protection and sealed in a VCI Fresh Technology (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) bag to guarantee that your strings arrive as fresh as the day they were made.

Q: There are visible gaps in the windings of some of your strings. Is this normal?
A: Because of the angles of the wrap wire that we use when winding these strings, there may be some small gaps between windings. This is perfectly normal for our strings. And as you can tell, there is no difference in tone. The Dunlop VCI Fresh system that we recently added is a vapor barrier that does not allow moisture into the package that can corrode the strings. It's one more step that Dunlop is taking to assure that you play the freshest strings possible.
Q: How can I purchase Dunlop products?
A: We always prefer that players purchase Dunlop products at your local music store. However, if your store does not stock the item and is not willing to special order the item for you, you can order directly from us.
