We engineered this set's heavier low B to rest fully in the saddle so that all that extra mass stays tight and focused, delivering a massive low end with the same sweet top end and punchy mids as the rest of the range.

A tapered B is thinner right at that contact point, so it settles in flush on setups where a standard B won't. That lets your low string ring out as full and even as the other four.
